I have to confess a certain satisfaction in calling what is happening. BUT....
Now friends are being laid off and as more undergo this it hurts me too - who would not feel the anxiety and pain?
I wonder what will happen if say in a year or so that 50 - 100 people I know on on their own?
What will happens if each of us knows 100 people - won"t the chains of the corporate meme be broken?
My predictions are these
- Any inhibitions that I might have felt about how I feel about the corporate model will have gone
- That I will not be alone
- That there will be this huuuge "pregnant moment" when it is clear that this model that had been our reality cannot be defended as an idea but only by force
- That the energy, brains and love that is on the other side will be committed to creating the alternative
- That part of what unites us will be the certainty that we will succeed
2009 - 2011 will be I think think the 1918-22 of our era.
