As we look at the increase in healthcare costs as we age - we also have to look at the front end. I am aghast as I look at this grapgh. What has happened?
All this talk about genes etc is just a smokescreen. What started back in the 1970's to drive this?
For me this graph exposes the critical issue for health care and the costs. We have to shift our attention to the causes. They will have to be related to novel issues of our time.
What society can live with this?
