Y Phung Watch Repair - What a find!

Many many years ago when I was a rich investment banker, I gave Robin a Baume et Mercier  watch for Christmas. It gave no trouble for maybe 20 years but several years ago seized up. No one - including B & M's agents could fix it. So it sat in Robin's drawer, a symbol of a life that we no longer lead and a reminder that we can no longer trust a brand that identifies itself as not a watch but a "Legacy".

Somehow we were talking about this and our throw away society with cousins in Toronto a few weeks ago, when they told us that they had lucked out by finding the real deal - a real watch/clock repair man! Needless to say her watch is up and running like new and now my engagement present, a 33 year old self winder has been fixed as well and will be back on my wrist.

It seems that everything is to be used and then thrown away now. I can only hope that the internet will allow those of us that have fine watches and clocks to have them brought back to life.

Here is a link to his simple site - Y Phung Watch Repair

As you will see, we are not the only ones who think he is great.
