Google - Free Wifi

Google is launching its free test for WiFi in Montainview. It plans to launch free Wifi in San Francisco later.

I am encouraged. Google has the power and the need to take on the Pipes.

I see an allaince between Public Radio, the universities (who own 70% of the stations) and Google that can simply make the Pipes go away and democratize the internet again just as it is under attack.

The Digital Divide from a cost and freedom aspect then goes away.
