A better mousetrap

Here is unedited feedback on how the tool itself works.

I found the site to be very user friendly.

The one change I would suggest is for the recent posts page. I think
it would make it easier if the comments of other comments (not
personal blog entries) were indented underneath the comments, instead
of just listing the comments in chronological order. I hope that makes
sense! I know that would make things easier for me, but I am not sure
what other people would think about that.

Great site. I think one change

Great site. I think one change that could be made is when you open a
personal blog entry to review additional comments, the red asterik
should be there to show which comments have not been read. I know it
is on the recent posts page but I think it might help if it were on
the discussion page itself.

Thanks

Great work!

I found this site excellent. Once I got used to it I found it much
easier then WebCT. I really like the Recent Post option since it
allowed us to find where the dicussions were developing without
sifting through all the posts. The only thing I think that would make
it easier is if the comment boxes had some sort of spell check option
in them - but cutting and pasting into WP isn't really that much extra
work.

Thanks for all the work you put into this Will!

Good Site

It took me a couple days to get used to the site but after that I
actually liked the site much better then the Web CT version. Sheena's
idea of putting a spell check option on the comment box was a good
idea. Other then that I don't really see anything wrong with the
setup. I also found you guys very helpful, I had a bit of trouble at
first and you were very quick to respond.
Thanks,
sarah

Easy to Use

I must say the site is much easier to use than the WEBCT. I never had
any problems with it so I'm not sure of your response time. Everything
was easy to navigate, and the search option came in handy a coulple of
times. I really have nothing bad to say as I found it much better than
webct.

Great Site!

I enjoyed the site, its alot better format then that of webct. I was
in two web courses this semster, one being this one and one being
another using webct. This was much more user friendly and i hope it
catches on with other courses since its much better.

This site at first i was really confused

This site at first i was really confused while i used it but after i
experimented a bit with it i learned how to use it then it became very
easy. i loved how it has the recent post part that makes everything so
much easier. just as someone said eariler it would be much more
helpful if there was spell check on it. and as well when you write
comments and preview them then go down to correct lets say spelling
you can't see all of the words that part i didn't like, but other then
that i really liked the way it was set up.

Good tools

I found this site to be a lot better than WebCT. Like anything it took
some getting used to, but overall i enjoyed the layout. I believe the
one thing that should be improved is the red asterik. When you go to
view a comment that is posted under a blog and then you go back to
recent posts all the red asteriks are gone. I think it would be easier
if the red asterik was removed after each comment you read. So if
there were 5 comments under one blog and you read the first one then
there would still be 4 asteriks still showing. This way a student
could keep track of what they read and didn't read. I know sometimes i
lost track. Overall i enjoyed using these tools and this course.
Thanks

Great Site

I personally found this web course very easy to adjust to. I have
taken 2 other web courses and I must say that this was the easiest one
to get use to. The other 2 courses were WEBCT and sometimes
assignments and exercises weren't available when they were suppose to
and the site was down a few times. I never experienced any problems
with this course at all. I think you guys did a great job of designing
it. The only suggestion I had Jeff already mentioned it, that the red
asterisk should be there to show what comments had not been read.
Thanks for making this site so easy to use.
