You know when you read the forward of a book and in the last paragraph the author finally gets to his wife and apologizes for being absent. Well This is where I am now now. I have been working solidly on my report for Public Radio. My first draft was finished today. It all has to be in final form well before June 5.
I have been doing the all dayer's (Up at 4.30am) because I can't do all nighters anymore. I am a dawn boy. I am off biking for 4 days this weekend and then at the end of May I am off to Reboot in Copenhagen. So I had to get the first draft done now.
Hopefully I will have lost more weight biking so I can taste beer and Akavit. I look forward to seeing Johnnie Moore again and to meeting Hugh and Ton for the first time. The Ruk will be there too from PEI.
It's a small world. In June I hope to be back at NPR to talk in person about my findings and off to the coast to do a pitch for a new project. I hope that I will then be able to share my report publicly.
