There I was getting the pizza ready and idly watching Compass to catch the weather and instead of Boomer - this Greek God comes on air.
At the end of the show - when normally a few stragglers catch the frisbee - I saw groups of young women trying their best to catch his eye in hope of catching a frisbee. By the end of the next two weeks there could be a riot on the waterfont. All leave for the Mounties will be cancelled and a barricade will have to be built to keep the hysterical hordes from tearing all the clothes of his lean and sculpted body.
So - Who is the new star of TV on PEI? - It is Matt Rainne! Now he is in front of the camera rather than hidden away behind the microphone Compass and PEI will never be the same again.
Good for you Matt. As I struggle to lose weight and give in to my cravings for just this glass of wine and my fried breakfasts, I know that a lot of discipline and effort has gone into this.
