Diana wanted to add this as she thought more about seduction - quite a different model from the Cosmo girl!
Pamela Harriman as a young woman
A few thoughts on seduction by a courtesan: Whether we are
talking modern day or Pompadour, real seduction is very different from
a person trying to be sexy and the view of the masses of what is sexy.
How does a woman who is trying to seduce a powerful or rich lover do.
First she has to understand the importance of the senses, which
are touch smell and hearing. A woman's smell should be distinct,
something that a man will remember every time he smells it, or when
ever she is there. It is important for a woman to have her individual
smell, when I talk of this I mean the perfume she uses. When she is
looking for a scent she must choose one that is not a new fashion, nor
is it one of the classics like Chanel 5. She must try out little known
scents and wear them. If she is constantly told by perfect strangers
that she smells nice, be it in the super market or in a bus line where
ever she goes, she has found the right smell for her. This has often
happened to me. She can have two smells her winter smell and her
summer smell , and after a certain age she should keep to these.
Next her visual appearance. She must make a certain style for
herself that is classic. Classic things have no out of date. She must
wear things that to the touch are always luxurious and soft, silk,
Cashmere, after all she is a woman. When the world is going around
half undressed she must covet being clothed. Men are visual beings and
they have an imagination. If they are presented with a half naked
woman all the time they will not become or remain excited. Nudist
beaches are very unsexy. A courtesans dress should be fashionable but
not too revealing. She must create a desire from men that they want to
always see more. He clothes can be sexy in that if she is wearing a
silk dress that when she walks at times the dress will hug her body for
an instant. She should always look well dressed not under dressed,
what I mean is not bra less or with a skimpy short dress. She must be
aware of a woman's beautiful points, the arch of her back, her neck, a
shoulder.
She should never wear clothes with the make of the designer on
them, because she is the designer. Her posture is very important and
her walk. When she sits, she should have a straight back and not cross
her legs as this makes her legs look ugly, she can cross her ankles or
have her legs to one side with the feet together and the soles of her
feet on the ground. She should never cross her arms in front of her,
her hands should rest neatly in her lap, and not be fidgeting all the
time. She must not be too thin, thinness gives off an impression that
she is mean or too highly strung. A body made for love has not become
pumped up at the gym, there is nothing more ugly than a woman with a
six pack, and hard muscular legs and bulging arms. Her body should be
completely different from a mans. There is nothing more exciting than
two naked bodies that look completely different, a mans body with
muscles and hair and a woman's with curves and firm but not hard.
What should a man hear. He should hear a nice pleasant voice, and
laughter. She should smile and have a look of happiness on her face.
When he thinks of her, he should want to smile because he can hear her
laughter. A woman who brings laughter into a room is always remembered
with pleasure.
So, when she comes into a room, she walks with grace, she carries
herself with confidence and as she passes there is her smell, and her
face should radiate happiness and pleasure. There should be the sound
of silk swishing and she should go over to a single chair, never a
sofa. A sofa is too soft and she will sink in and look short waisted.
In a single chair she will stand out, and her posture will be noticed.
She must never drink red wine when she is out or it will discolour
her teeth and lips, white wine or champagne. She must never eat garlic
or onions, or asparagus. These foods leave a lasting odour on her
skin. She must never drink more than two glasses of wine when she is
out. She must always be sober. She should always try to seat herself
next to another woman, she is not a vamp, and women should always see
her as one of them, with no interest in any of the men in the room,
except as pleasant people to talk to.
She should be the person asking questions, and whoever she is
talking to she must turn towards them and totally engage herself in
them as if they were simply the most fascinating person she has ever
met. If there is a person who looks shy and out of it, she should go
over to them and sit down and talk to them. If there is an old woman
or an old man, she should make them a priority for the evening. She
should stay away from the main attractions in the room, the people
everyone else wants to talk to. If there is a child at the party, she
should make a special effort to talk to them.
She should leave before anyone else. When she sees the hostess
leave the room, she follows her and out of sight gives an excuse why
she has to leave, and how she doesn't want to disturb the flow of her
party by saying goodbye.
Now she is noticed. Noticed because she was kind, and friendly.
She was gracious, to all the people who were not going to be given the
time of day, and the people who shone didn't get a chance to talk to
her. Now they are interested in her, and all the attractive men, are
wondering about her. She is a mystery, she is a lady, she is
different, and she has slipped away. All that is left is a slight
smell of her and her laughter. She needed no dress cut to the waste,
or skirt up to her panties, she stood out for the sheer grace of her.
She of course creates Trusted Space wherever she is.
