Jon Husband has pointed me the way of monitter: a tool that gives you 3 search/feed panes that enables you to search the full Twittervse. I have set up Denver, NPR and Obama and it is as if I am in Denver.
Again if Twitter can hold it together - these kind of tools are going to be very valuable not just to us regular folks but to those in news who want to use the power of the Twitterverse to cover any breaking story
