I am near the end of a 2 day trip to St Louis as my client KETC plans a new project.
I was not able to travel because of competing work commitments - so we ended up using Skype.
This is my view.
Other than one hicup - this has worked very well. I miss the hard core personal interaction outside of the formal meeting - no small thing - but as far as attending a meeting this went very well. 2 entire days!
At their end, there was a big TV screen linked to a mic and a laptop. At mine my trusty MacBook.
The mics were in the middle of the room and Jack would move them about a bit to get to the hard to hear bits. I was sent all the documents in advance and when I had to write on the white board sent emails.
As we do this more often - I am sure that we will get very good at this and know how to use many of the supporting tools better.
